Today we’re celebrating the incredible women who inspire us, lead us, support us, challenge us, and make the world a brighter place- in big ways and small ones.
For over 100 years, IWD has brought people together to champion gender equality. Officially recognised by the United Nations in 1975, it has grown into a worldwide movement that shines a spotlight on both accomplishments and challenges.
International Women’s Day is both a celebration and a call to action. It’s a moment to acknowledge the progress that’s been made, while also recognising that meaningful work toward equality continues.
💡 Two big themes shaping IWD 2026 are:
- Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls because equality should be the standard, not the exception.
- “Give To Gain” highlighting how mentorship, support, generosity, and lifting each other up can create real momentum.
